The former 3-flat church residence in Wicker Park was adapted into a single-family home. A new interior double-height space celebrates the structure’s historic material character while introducing open living and views to the backyard landscape. Finely crafted bones of the original residence offer a promising backdrop for the open living space which spans two levels and accentuates the home’s large bay windows.
